Story

A very good friend of mine wrote this song for the tornado disaster in Oklahoma. I was lucky enough to be apart of this recording. He does not want any recognition. All author, performance and publishing royalties... have been waived, so the song can be given freely as a gift to anyone making a donation of any kind towards the relief effort. Here is the link where anyone can access the song and listen to it, or download it for free.
Please listen to the song and share this on facebook.
Thank you

Lyrics

Tears for Oklahoma.

Written by Bill Nodrick

Vocals performed by Bill Nodrick and Larry Vannatta.

Acoustic performed by Pete Boyce, Harmonica by Bob Macgillivray

Rain, rain, rain tears for Oklahoma

Rain, rain, let it rain, tears for Oklahoma

A faded photograph though it’s growing out of date

It shows the color of her eyes and the smile upon her face

The search is making progress well at least that’s what we hear.

But the temperature is falling and where where’d about you dear

Rain, rain, rain tears for Oklahoma

Rain, rain, let it rain, tears for Oklahoma

History was writing on just another day

So close to our home in the heartland USA

It only took an instance but the worst is what we fear

The tragedy continues if this rain would only clear

Rain, rain, rain tears for Oklahoma

Rain, rain, let it rain, tears for Oklahoma

Rain, rain, rain tears for Oklahoma

Rain, rain, let it rain, tears for Oklahoma

Rain, rain, rain as tears fall in Oklahoma
